As a result of the Russian strike on Kharkiv, one person was killed, 19 were injured, including 4 children, 18 residential buildings and more than 800 windows were damaged.

"Today, in broad daylight, the enemy struck twice at Kharkiv. The first one hit a residential area in the city center, the second one - near the Institute of Surgery. A man was killed in the shelling. Another 19 people were wounded, four of them small children. As of now, we also have 18 damaged residential buildings and more than 800 broken windows - we will provide the final figures tomorrow, after the survey of the neighborhood is completed," said Terekhov.

According to him, emergency repair work is ongoing.

"First of all, we are closing the windows in those apartments where people have decided to stay in spite of everything. All residents of the damaged buildings have been offered accommodation in city dormitories," he summarized.
