Russia has opened a new front in the Toretsk sector, trying to storm Ukrainian positions from Horlivka towards Kostyantynivka.

Russia has opened a new front, which was there, but in "sleep mode" - we are talking about the Toretsk direction. The enemy is trying to storm the positions of the Defense Forces from  Horlivka in the Toretsk sector towards Kostyantynivka. This was reported by the spokesman of the "Khortytsia" unit Nazar Voloshyn during a telethon, commenting on the statement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that the active front line has increased, the correspondent of UNN reports.

The TV presenter noted that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that the active front line in eastern Ukraine was expanding and other settlements were being included.

When asked how the situation is changing now, Voloshyn replied: "According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, our neighbor has opened a new front against us, let's say, but it was there, but somewhat in a "sleep mode" - it was the Toretsk direction. The enemy is trying to conduct active hostilities there, firing from various types of weapons, as well as from aircraft at the settlements in the Toretsk direction...".

Therefore, as Voloshyn explained, it was meant that the Russians are trying to storm the positions of the Ukrainian military from  Horlivka in the Toretsk direction towards Kostyantynivka.

"It was meant that the enemy tried and is trying to storm the positions of our military from  Horlivka in the Toretsk sector towards Kostyantynivka. Of course, he prevails there with infantry and also uses artillery," Voloshyn said.
