Duplicate information in Russian has been removed from railway tickets in Ukraine. Information is now provided in Ukrainian and English, which is a step towards European integration.

In Ukraine, railway tickets no longer have dubbing in Russian. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Timur Tkachenko in his Telegram channel, UNN reports.

"From now on, information on travel documents will be duplicated in Ukrainian and English. In addition, the forms of documents for printing in self-service terminals have been approved, which allows us to introduce new services for passengers on rail transport," said Tkachenko.

According to him, this is an important step in the framework of European integration, as the Ukrainian railroad now plays a key role in passenger transportation.

"The abandonment of dubbing in Russian is not only a symbolic but also a practical step to establish Ukrainian as the only state language. The use of English promotes integration into the international space, improves convenience for foreign passengers and demonstrates European service standards. This is not the final appearance of the ticket, it will be slightly improved, but the main thing now is the absence of Russian on it," Tkachenko added.

"As a test, we made a ticket with a prediction," the deputy minister added and showed the Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi - Pobeda ticket.
