Kyiv • UNN
The Ukrainian Navy destroyed 28 Russian ships, including a submarine, three missile carriers, and two new ships representing all classes from a flagship missile cruiser to missile boats and patrol ships, significantly reducing Russia's naval capabilities in the Black Sea.
The Ukrainian Navy has achieved significant success in countering the Russian aggressor in the Black Sea. The total number of destroyed enemy ships reached 28 units. This was reported by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk at a briefing, UNN reports.
"The total number is 28, including the destroyed submarine Rostov-on-Don, which was hit in a dry dock. But the important factor is not only quantitative but also qualitative. Among the destroyed ships are three cruise missile carriers, a submarine and two new ships, the most recent ones - Askold and Cyclone, and these are actually representatives of all classes, from the flagship, which was a missile cruiser, to missile boats, to units designed to deploy small numbers of troops and patrol, such as: "Raptor, Serna, Tuna," he said.
