Google has corrected the situation with maps when Ukrainian military systems were visible on updated satellite images on Google Maps. This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko, UNN reports.

Google has fixed the situation with maps. Military objects and systems are no longer displayed. Everything will be fine in the future as well

Earlier, Kovalenko reportedthat Google had published updated satellite images with the location of Ukrainian military systems. The company did not respond to requests for removal over the weekend.

Subsequently, Kovalenko reportedthat a meeting with Google was planned to discuss the security of military facilities on maps. Google has already expressed its readiness to blur strategic facilities to protect national security.
