Details

According to the report, banks will have to pay UAH 16.5 billion in income tax during this period. This is 1.6 times more than in the same period in 2023. Out of 63 banks, only 7 incurred losses - UAH 131.83 million.

The top ten most profitable banks in Ukraine include four state-owned banks, four banks with foreign capital, and two private banks.

In total, their profit accounts for 85% of the total profit of all Ukrainian banks. PrivatBank accounts for one third of the total profit. According to the study, MTB Bank had the largest increase in profit - 13.6 times.

The statistics also show that the leader among banks with foreign capital was Raiffeisen Bank: almost UAH 4 billion in profit. This is a 22% increase compared to the same period last year.

It is noted that banks with private capital received UAH 10.42 billion in profit. This is almost 1.5 times more compared to the corresponding period of 2023 . The leader of this group was FUIB, which earned UAH 3.2 billion. This is 7% more than last year.
