Ukrainian air defense forces shot down three Russian cruise missiles in Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions overnight.
On Monday night, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down three missiles launched by the Russian army at Ukraine. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk, UNN reports .
Details
It is noted that on the night of July 8, the enemy attacked Ukraine with air- and ground-based missiles:
- 4 X-101 missiles from Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft (launch area - airspace of Saratov region - Russian Federation)
- 2 "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles (launch areas - Kursk region - Russia, Crimea).
As a result of combat operations, air defense destroyed 3 X-101 cruise missiles in Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions.
