Ukraine plans to create a unified system of care for the wounded based on NATO standards, modernize tactical medicine, update training, and take into account the combat experience of Ukrainian medics since 2014.
A unified system of assistance to the wounded will be created in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, UNN reports.
Details
The key changes include modernization of tactical medicine, updating training based on the principles of evidence, and transition to a new level of education using the best international practices.
It is also planned to use NATO standards to ensure that the system of medical care for the wounded is in line with them.
The development of the system will also be based on the combat experience of Ukrainian medics who have been on the front line since 2014
Representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health, the Medical Forces Command, as well as NGOs and combat medics took part in the discussion of the initiative.
