Details

An environmental disaster occurred in the Kerch Strait on December 15, when two river tankers unsuitable for sea conditions sank. The event led to a significant oil spill, causing serious pollution.

The occupation authorities are resorting to the forced exploitation of young people from the temporarily occupied territories to eliminate the consequences of the disaster. Students recruited through the organization "Young South" perform dangerous work under the guise of "volunteering". They are promised credits in exchange for participating in the cleanup of the coast near Anapa, which poses a risk to their health.

The situation demonstrates the systemic irresponsibility of this government, which once again puts civilians in dangerous conditions.
