The Government registered a draft law on withdrawal from the agreement on the supply of products for the national hydrometeorological services of the CIS member states.

The Cabinet of Ministers has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill to withdraw from the agreement on the supply of products for the hydrometeorological services of the CIS member states, the government's representative in parliament, Taras Melnychuk, has said, UNN reports.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft law "On withdrawal from the Agreement on the Supply of Goods for the National Hydrometeorological Services of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States" (Reg. No. 0255)," Melnychuk wrote on Telegram. 

According to him, "the draft law, taking into account the fact that the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the participation of the Republic of Belarus in it completely violate the principles and norms of international law, as well as level the main goals, principles and principles that Ukraine was guided by when concluding international agreements within the CIS, in particular in the field of hydrometeorology, provides for Ukraine's withdrawal from the agreement on the supply of goods to support the national hydrometeorological services of the CIS member states.

As stated, the agreement was concluded on September 9, 1994 in Moscow and ratified by the Law of Ukraine of December 20, 1996 No. 630/96-VR.
