Minister Sibiga stated Ukraine's expectations for a just peace after the US election. Zelenskyy congratulated Trump on his victory, despite his adviser's statements about the impossibility of returning the occupied territories.
The US elections have global implications. Ukraine expects further leadership in achieving a just peace. This was stated by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga during a joint press conference with EU High Representative Josep Borrell, UNN reports.
"The US elections have been held. Elections that have global implications. Ukraine expects further leadership in achieving a just peace. Obviously, global changes of this nature are always also a hope and a chance to accelerate the achievement of a just peace for Ukraine," Sibiga said.
He emphasized that Ukraine is talking about a just peace, not appeasement.
