Two servicemen were notified of suspicion of murdering one police officer, attempted murder of another and desertion with weapons under martial law in Vinnytsia region.
Two servicemen were notified of suspicion of murder and attempted murder of police officers in Vinnytsia region, the Prosecutor General's Office said on Monday, UNN reports.

"Under the procedural guidance of the Vinnytsia Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region, two servicemen were served suspicion notices of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives (Article 348, Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the statement said.
Also, under the procedural supervision of the Odesa Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region, the servicemen were served a notice of suspicion of desertion with weapons by prior conspiracy committed under martial law (Part 4 of Article 408 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on April 20, at night, the suspects killed one policeman, wounded another and fled the scene.
Law enforcement officers tracked them down and detained them in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine in the village of Lipetske, Podil district, Odesa region.
Earlier, a vehicle used by the wanted persons and ammunition were found in Vinnytsia region, the prosecutor's office said.
"Also, during the investigation, a weapon was found - probably the murder weapon," the Prosecutor General's Office said.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out with the suspects and the issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided.
The article provides for imprisonment for a term of 9 to 15 years or life imprisonment.
