Two Russians were sentenced to 9 years in prison each for attempting to join the Freedom of Russia Legion, which is fighting on the side of Ukraine against Russian troops.
On April 10, a military court in Russia sentenced two men to nine years in prison each in two different cases, accusing them of planning to join the Freedom of Russia Legion, which is fighting on the side of Ukraine against the occupation armed forces of the Russian Federation. Details
It is noted that 19-year-old Vsevolod Kulikov from Lipetsk was convicted of attempting to set fire to a military airport and attempted high treason. Vyacheslav Kuznetsov from Tatarstan was found guilty of attempted high treason.
Both Kulikov and Kuznetsov pleaded guilty. They will spend three years in prison, and the remaining six years in a maximum security colony.
