Two fires caused by short circuits in microwave ovens occurred in residential buildings in Kyiv's Obolon district, but were quickly extinguished without casualties.

Two fires broke out in the Obolon district of Kyiv due to short circuits in household appliances, fortunately, there were no casualties. This was reported by the State Emergency Service, UNN reports.

The first report of a fire was received at 09:26. In a 16-storey building on Oleksandr Arkhypenko Street, a microwave was on fire in the kitchen of an apartment on the thirteenth floor. The fire was promptly extinguished at 10:06. Another fire was reported at 09:33 a.m. In a 16-storey residential building on Poliarna Street, a microwave caught fire on the fifth floor. The fire was extinguished at 09:56

Fortunately, the fire did not result in any casualties or injuries. Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
