Two cars collide in Mykolaiv region: five children among the victims

Nine people, including five children aged 2 to 16, were injured in a collision between a Mercedes-Benz Vito and a Ford Fiesta in the village of Dobra Krynytsia, Mykolaiv region.
Two cars collided in Mykolaiv region. The accident injured nine people - the drivers and seven passengers, UNN reports, citing the Mykolaiv regional police.

The accident occurred on July 5 around 14:30 on the H-11 Dnipro-Mykolaiv highway in the village of Dobra Krynytsia.
According to the police, a Mercedes-Benz Vito driven by a 70-year-old driver and a Ford Fiesta driven by a 29-year-old woman collided.
As a result of the collision, the Mercedes-Benz Vito overturned.
As a result of the accident, the drivers and seven passengers, including five children aged 2, 6, 9, 15, and 16, from both vehicles sustained injuries of varying severity. All the injured were taken to medical facilities.

Investigators classified the incident on the grounds of Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles". The sanction of the article provides for up to three years of imprisonment.
Police are currently investigating all the circumstances of the accident.
