When asked whether Trump sent a message to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin through Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Volz replied:
“I'm not going to go into specifics. But, first of all, we are talking, of course, we will continue to talk, and secondly... President Trump has made it clear that he wants to end this war.”
“How do we end this conflict? How do we do it in a way that will restore stability, stop the bloodshed, and hopefully make it a final ending, not just... not just a respite? We are thinking about all this,” he said.
Volz said that the new White House administration plans to consider the “peace proposals” of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
