In the Lviv region, three teenagers who got stuck on an island in the middle of a river needed the help of rescuers. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

On the evening of August 7, rescuers received a report that three children were stuck on an island, 30 meters from the shore, in the village of Pidhirtsi, Stryi district. It turned out that the teenagers had neglected water safety rules and were trapped, unable to reach the shore on their own.
The rescuers arrived quickly and ferried the children to the shore by boat. Fortunately, they did not need medical care.
