Ukraine launches the world's first kitchen train from Kyiv to Izyum
Today, the world's first unique kitchen train, which can prepare about 10,000 meals a day, left Kyiv. It will travel through Kharkiv to Izyum to feed those who work every day to bring Ukraine's victory closer. This was reported by the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, UNN writes.
The food prepared in it will be transferred as a sign of gratitude to those who help our defenders every day in the frontline regions: employees of the State Emergency Service, police, doctors, railway workers, volunteers, said Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine - Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.
Details
The Food Train can operate autonomously for 5-7 days and produce about 10,000 meals a day offline. The train's equipment allows you to prepare full meals: soups, cereals, salads, meat, etc. Special thermoboxes installed inside the train make it easy to transport ready-made portioned containers of food from the train-kitchen to the end consumer.
The train has 6 cars, including a generator car, a refrigerator car, a car with a cold kitchen for processing food and a hot kitchen for preparing final dishes. There is also a staff car and a luggage car.
The social project was implemented in cooperation with the Howard Buffett Foundation.
