The prosecutor's office demands that the HOA repair the Kuznetsov income house built in 1897. The architectural monument is in an unsatisfactory condition.

The Shevchenkivska District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv has filed a lawsuit demanding that the balance holder bring the architectural monument building on Yaroslaviv Val Street into proper condition. This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, according to UNN.
Details
This refers to a three-story building constructed in 1897 according to the design of architect Mykola Gardenin. Historically, it was called "Kuznetsov's income house" and "Teshner's estate." The structure is unique in that it has not undergone any reconstructions, and authentic stucco molding is still preserved in its interior.
The prosecutor's office reminds that back in 2021, a protection agreement was concluded between the Department of Cultural Heritage Protection of the Kyiv City State Administration and the HOA, which obliges the balance holder to ensure proper maintenance of the building, carry out repair work, and take measures for its preservation.
At the same time, it was established that the building is in an unsatisfactory technical condition, which indicates a violation of the requirements of legislation in the field of cultural heritage protection and the terms of the agreement.
The prosecutor's office emphasizes that due to prolonged inaction, the monument is under threat of further destruction.
To preserve it, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit. Proceedings in the case have already been opened.
