Lubinets expressed hope that the leadership of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine will take into account all the public comments, work on the mistakes of its predecessors, and continue to effectively implement the basic principles of veterans' policy.

At the same time, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights noted that there have been positive developments in veterans' issues.

His Representative on human rights in the security and defense sector, Oleksandr Kononenko, shared the results of the "single window" at the regional centers for administrative services in his speech to the committee. Through this service, war veterans and their family members can receive relevant consultations and submit packages of documents without delay.

Lubinets expects that in the near future  the relevant government agencies will be able to expand the range of administrative services provided by ASCs to war veterans and their families.
