The Ministry of Defense held a meeting between the leadership and the military to discuss army modernization and innovation. They discussed issues of supply, training and the creation of a new coordination body.

The Ministry of Defense hosted a meeting of the Ukrainian military with Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargylevych to discuss troop supply, training, innovations and reforms. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry, UNN reports.

According to the Defense Ministry, Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargylevych met with the Ukrainian military today to discuss the needs of the army and further steps to modernize it.

Among the main topics was the provision of troops, which will involve the development of equipment that is even more comfortable and functional.

"In addition, at the initiative of our defenders, we are considering new standards for military cuisine, as well as modifications and repairs of equipment and weapons. We are ready to test new solutions and scale them to the entire army," the statement said.

They also discussed how to prepare each soldier for the current conditions of war to increase the effectiveness of training so that the soldiers are as ready as possible for new challenges.

"Allied approaches and innovations. We have an important resource in the form of the Kropyva and DELTA software - we are expanding its use and implementing modern management approaches that help the military work smoothly and quickly," the ministry said.

They also discussed the reform and improvement of the Air Force and the Unmanned Systems Forces.

"Changes must be supported by updating doctrines and updating the legal framework to prepare our army for modern requirements and capabilities. Such meetings are becoming regular, and this is important. Together with the military, we agreed to work on creating a new coordinating body that will focus on collecting challenges, formulating proposals and monitoring their implementation," the Defense Ministry added.
