The investigative team was dispatched after reports that MP Oleksandr Dubinsky was allegedly beaten in a pre-trial detention center

The National Police confirmed that an investigative team had been sent to the scene of the alleged beating of MP Oleksandr Dubinsky in the pre-trial detention center. This was reported to a journalist of UNN by the Communications Department of the National Police.

This information was received by the police from a lawyer who reported that his client had been injured while in the pre-trial detention center. The pre-trial detention center does not belong to the National Police units, but, of course, an investigative team was sent to the scene

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv remanded MP Oleksandr Dubinskyi, who is suspected of high treason, in custody until January 12, 2024.
