Ukraine has no intention of developing nuclear weapons and complies with the NPT. Kyiv cooperates with the IAEA and ensures transparency in nuclear energy issues.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhiy Tykhyi said that Ukraine does not intend to create nuclear weapons and remains committed to its international obligations on the non-proliferation of nuclear technology. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, UNN reports.

According to him, Ukraine adheres to the provisions of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and completely excludes the possibility of using nuclear materials for military purposes.
Kyiv emphasizes that it works closely with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and ensures absolute transparency in all matters related to nuclear energy.
