The longlist of the National Selection for Eurovision 2025 has been announced: how many artists got there

UA:PBC has announced the list of 20 participants of the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. Of these, 10 finalists will be selected to compete for the right to represent Ukraine at the contest.
Ukraine has announced the longlist of the National Selection for Eurovision 2025 - 20 Ukrainian artists have been shortlisted to represent Ukraine at the Song Contest in Basel (Switzerland), UNN reports with reference to Suspilne.

The long list of the national selection was selected from 369 submitted applications, including 232 solo artists and 72 groups.
Subsequently, the participants will be auditioned and the names of the nine finalists will be announced.

Tina Karol, the music producer of the National Selection for Eurovision 2025, emphasized that the selected participants are high-quality and original artists who make up a new showcase of Ukrainian music.
"Today, we are presenting the longlist of the participants of the National Selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2025! It includes 20 performers out of almost 400 applications. The artists of the longlist are a new musical showcase, the main feature of which is quality and relevance. All participants are talented, self-sufficient and bright. I am very grateful to everyone who applied! I would like to note on my own that I was very sorry, because many strong songs were not included in the list of participants due to non-compliance with the rules of the National Selection. Namely, they were published or performed earlier, were longer than three minutes, had some of someone else's poetry or profanity. My advice: if the song has not been published before, please finalize it and submit your application next year," said Tina Karol.
An online rating vote will be held among the participants of the longlist who do not make it to the finalist list, which will determine another participant in the final.
In total, up to 10 performers will take part in the final of the National Selection, which will be held in February 2025 in the format of a televised concert. As in previous years, the winner of the National Selection will be determined by the jury and the audience. Ukrainians will choose the star jury of the final by online voting.
The 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in May 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. The Song Contest will be held for the first time in the German-speaking part of the country.
The semifinals, one of which will be attended by a representative from Ukraine, will be held on May 13 and 15. The grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will be held at the St. Petersburg Arena. Jakobshalle on Saturday, May 17.
