The government has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers' Secretariat to ensure the creation of a system for monitoring international technical assistance. This was announced on Tuesday by Taras Melnychuk, the government's representative in parliament, on Telegram, UNN reports.

The Government has amended the CMU Decision No. 153 of February 15, 2002, "On Establishing a Unified System for Attracting, Using and Monitoring International Technical Assistance". According to these amendments, the CMU Secretariat is tasked with ensuring the development, implementation, operation, administration, as well as modernization and development of the information and communication system for coordinating the monitoring of international technical assistance, while the Ministry of Digital Transformation is to provide the necessary methodological assistance to the CMU Secretariat.
According to Melnychuk, the changes introduced are aimed at ensuring an effective process of creating and operating an information and communication system for coordinating and monitoring international technical assistance. This will allow project participants and authorized public authorities to receive consolidated information in real time, facilitating informed decision-making in the exercise of their powers, and will ensure regular exchange of information between agencies.
