The Cabinet of Ministers has added compensation for humanitarian demining and specialist training to the Register of Damage. Claims can be submitted through the Diia state portal.

The Government has expanded the options for submitting claims to the Register of Damage — compensation for demining will now be available

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended the procedures for submitting claims to the International Register of Damage (RD4U), expanding the list of categories eligible for compensation. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, according to UNN.

Individuals and legal entities, as well as the state of Ukraine, will be able to submit claims for compensation for damages related to humanitarian demining and the clearing of territories from unexploded ordnance,

The Ministry of Economy noted that the corresponding functionality will be available on the "Diia" portal.

In category B5 "Demining and clearing of unexploded ordnance," applicants will be able to claim compensation for costs related to humanitarian demining, training of humanitarian demining specialists, and public awareness and education regarding mine hazards.

Provision is also made for the reimbursement of state expenses for compensating farmers and agricultural producers for the cost of humanitarian demining of their land plots.

The ministry added that the list of documents required for submitting an application will be published separately.

The Cabinet of Ministers added 14 new categories to the International Register of Damage caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation. Claims can be submitted through the state service Diia.
