"The parastasis for our dear mother, grandmother, the flower of the Ukrainian nation, Iryna Farion, will begin on Sunday, July 21 at 19:00 in the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (Lviv). You will be able to say goodbye until 22:00 in the church," the daughter wrote on Facebook.

"The funeral service will begin on Monday, July 22 at 14:00 in the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (Lviv). My mother will be buried at Lychakiv Cemetery on the central alley (field 22, near Volodymyr Ivasyuk's grave)," the daughter said.

Meanwhile, Lviv residents are bringing flowers and lamps to the site of Iryna Farion's murder.

On July 19, an unidentified person shot at Iryna Farion, a linguist and professor at Lviv Polytechnic. The woman was taken to the hospital with a head wound in extremely serious condition.

In the hospital, Irina Farion died. 

Police have several versions of the murder of linguist Irina Farion, including public and political activities and personal animosity. Law enforcement officers found a shell casing after the shooting and do not rule out a "Russian trace" in the crime.

In the morning, the police, together with the SBU, are carrying out a set of measures to detain the attacker who shot Farion. Law enforcement officers are interviewing eyewitnesses, checking information, studying surveillance video, and taking other measures to identify the attacker and his whereabouts.
