The former head of an emergency medical center in Kherson region was served a notice of suspicion of embezzlement of more than UAH 1.8 million through abuse of office by concluding contracts with an individual entrepreneur operating in the occupied territory.
The ex-head of the emergency medical center in Kherson region was notified of suspicion of embezzlement through abuse of office. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, UNN reports.

Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the former head of the Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine Center was served in absentia a notice of suspicion of embezzlement of another's property by abuse of office (Part 5 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in May 2022, the man took the position of "acting chief physician" in the institution, which he re-registered under the occupation administration of Kherson region. In July and September of the same year, he entered into two agreements on behalf of a Ukrainian healthcare facility worth more than UAH 1 million 800 thousand with an individual entrepreneur operating in the occupied territory.
