Ukraine’s Defense Forces completely destroyed an oil depot in occupied Luhansk that was used by Russian troops. This was reported by UNN, citing the "ATESH" partisan movement.

Details

This depot was a key logistics hub for the enemy - it was from here that the 41st and 20th Russian combined-arms armies operating in eastern Ukraine were supplied with fuel. Our agents recorded the exact location of the tanks, the schedules for tanker deliveries, and the points where fuel trucks were concentrated, promptly transmitting the coordinates to Ukraine’s Defense Forces

- the movement said in a statement.

This was not the first strike on this facility - the oil depot had previously been attacked on:

  • September 4, 2025;
    • February 27, 2026;
      • May 24, 2026;
        • June 4–5, 2026.

          Today, we can confidently confirm that after a series of precise strikes carried out using our coordinates, the oil depot has been completely disabled and rendered inoperable. The enemy has lost its most important resource in this region—fuel and lubricants

           - the partisans reported.

          We remind you

          In the early hours of July 23, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a parking area for military fuel tankers in occupied Luhansk. As a result of the attack, the vehicles that were supposed to supply Russian units in the Donetsk direction were unable to depart for their destination.
