Tariffs for heating for Kyiv residents will remain unchanged until the end of the war - regulator

The NERC retained the heat tariff for the population of Kyiv from CHP-5 and CHP-6 at the level of UAH 969.89/Gcal for the period of martial law and 6 months after. Tariffs for other consumers will increase.

The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Utilities (NKREKP) has left the tariff for thermal energy of Kyiv CHP-5 and CHP-6 "Kyivteploenergo" for household consumers of Kyiv at the level of UAH 969.89 per 1 Gcal for the period of martial law and six months after its completion. This was reported by UNN with reference to the NKREKP.
Details
During the meeting, the NKREKP adopted a resolution amending the previously adopted document No. 2728 of December 22, 2021, which regulates tariffs for CHP-5 and CHP-6.
Thus, for household consumers, heat from Kyiv CHP-5 and CHP-6 of Kyivteploenergo will cost UAH 969.89 per 1 Gcal for the period of martial law and for another six months after its completion.
After the end of the grace period, heat for the population will increase by 9.3% - to 1 059.99 UAH per 1 Gcal.
In addition, the NKREKP decided to increase tariffs for thermal energy of CHP-5 and CHP-6 for other categories of consumers:
· for the needs of religious organizations – UAH 2075.78 per 1 Gcal (excluding VAT);
· for the needs of budgetary institutions – UAH 2075.68 per 1 Gcal (excluding VAT);
· for the needs of other consumers – UAH 2076.00 per 1 Gcal (excluding VAT).
