Kyivstar started restoring voice communication across Ukraine at 18:00 and plans to resume data and SMS transmission within a day after that. The company advises restarting phones and disabling VoLTE for better connectivity.
Kyivstar has started to restore voice communication across Ukraine at 18:00, and hopes to restore data and SMS services within 24 hours, UNN reports citing the company's press service.
"As of 18.00 on December 13, 2023 , our specialists have started to turn on voice communication throughout Ukraine. The restoration of services will be gradual, so short-term difficulties are still possible until the end of the day. In this case, we recommend that subscribers restart their phones and disable the VoLTE service - this can be done in the phone settings," the company's press service said.

According to the press service, the company's specialists are currently working to restore data and SMS services and hope that they will also be restored within a day.
"After full restoration and stabilization of the network, Kyivstar will start preparing and providing compensation to all subscribers and corporate clients who could not use the company's services due to the hacker attack," the company summarized.
