Spain declares support for peace negotiations only with Ukraine's participation

Francina Armengol emphasized the mandatory participation of Ukraine in peace decisions. Spain will continue to support the territorial integrity of the state.
Any decisions regarding the end of the war must be made only with the participation of Ukraine. This was stated by the President of the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain, Francina Armengol, during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada, UNN reports.

According to Armengol, the international community must continue to support diplomatic efforts to achieve a just peace.
"We must continue to raise our voices in international arenas to mobilize third countries and encourage them to support negotiations for a ceasefire and a just and lasting peace in accordance with international law," she stated.
At the same time, the President of the Spanish Congress of Deputies emphasized that Ukraine must be a full participant in any negotiations regarding its own future.
"And Ukraine must participate in every decision regarding its future," Armengol emphasized.
She also stated that Europe continues to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
"Europe and Ukraine want peace," Armengol said.
During her speech in the Verkhovna Rada, she also emphasized that Spain will continue to support the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
