Concorde Bank co-founder Olena Sosiedka asked to be invited to a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy to tell the truth about the bank's activities and the process of its liquidation, accusing the committee's chairman, Danylo Hetmantsev, of destroying the bank and calling for the protection of Ukrainian business from his arbitrariness.
Concorde co-founder Olena Sosiedka said she had sent official appeals to members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy to invite her to a meeting to tell the truth about the bank's activities and the process of its liquidation, UNN reports.
"Since August 23rd, we have heard only insults and disparaging remarks. But in all this time, the Committee has not found an opportunity to invite me to a conversation and tell me to my face that I am not a human being and not a Ukrainian. No one asked the question - what was the real situation? No one was interested in the process of liquidation: there were only accusations, guesses and insults," Sosedka wrote on her Facebook page .
She emphasized that she is not ashamed of a single day of Concorde's work or a single transaction conducted in the bank.
"I want the members of the Committee, in particular, Danylo Hetmantsev..., to give me the opportunity to tell them about Concord Bank, its work and how powerful the machine is today to take our money. I am sure they have something to ask me and, believe me, I have something to tell them. After all, this kind of dialog should be an example of Ukraine's adherence to democratic principles that are the basis for all European countries," said the bank's co-founder.
