Soldiers will get married in "Diia" out of turn: Cabinet of Ministers has approved changes

The government has allowed the military to marry in "Diia" out of turn, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said on Telegram on Friday, UNN writes.

The military will marry in "Diia" out of turn - the government has adopted a resolution. We are expanding opportunities for those who defend Ukraine. We will launch a priority registration for Marriage Online for the military - they will separately book the date of the ceremony

- Fedorov wrote.

How the priority registration will work:

  • defenders will be authorized through the "Army+" application;
    • they will choose Marriage Online there;
      • they will get access to choosing the date and time of the wedding in "Diia".

        "The military will be able to get married in the first place, regardless of the distance, even if they are on the battlefield. After all, this service is important for defenders. Stay close, even when kilometers separate you," Fedorov said.

        As the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk clarified in Telegram, for this purpose the Cabinet of Ministers has amended the procedure for implementing the experimental project on state registration of marriage in electronic form.

        Melnychuk clarified that this service will not apply to the military of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Security Service of Ukraine.
