Brovary Clinical Hospital has received an alternative source of power supply - solar panels and batteries. The 24 kW system with a 29 kWh backup power supply will provide energy to critical departments, including the intensive care unit.

A multidisciplinary clinical hospital in Brovary will now have an alternative source of electricity - the facility has been equipped with solar panels and batteries. It took four months to complete all the work, UNN reports.

The solar power plant was launched at the Brovary Clinical Hospital as part of the Solar Hospitals project by the RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation and with the support of international donors.

During the opening ceremony, Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko noted that the entire setup of the solar power plant took only four months. And in the context of power outages due to enemy attacks on critical infrastructure, this station is quite important for the medical facility, as it will provide electricity to the intensive care unit, which is critical for a large number of patients.

Only four months have passed since the signing of the memorandum until today. I am grateful to the RePower Ukraine Foundation, which organized the project documentation and execution of the works in such a short period of time. This station, although it is small, provides a rather important unit in the hospital: intensive care

- Ihor Sapozhko said.

The Brovary Hospital has a 24 kW system with an additional 29 kWh backup power system that will cover a significant portion of the hospital's energy needs.

It is quite easy to control the solar panels themselves - a regular mobile application is suitable for this.
