In Chernivtsi, an educational security service inspector detained a 17-year-old youth who was shooting near one of the city's educational institutions. This was reported by the Patrol Police of Ukraine, according to UNN.

The incident occurred during the day near one of the educational institutions in Chernivtsi. ESS inspector Artem Ruzhytskyi heard gunshots and immediately headed to the scene.
There, the law enforcement officer found a young man with an object resembling a pistol. After a brief conversation, the inspector seized the weapon and called an investigative team.
No one was injured as a result of the incident. The weapon was sent for forensic examination, and investigators will determine its origin.
Juvenile prevention officers and the minor's parents were also notified of the incident.
