Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced that 14.4 million people have used assistance under the Winter eSupport program, which was initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He noted that yesterday the Government completed the payment of 1,000 hryvnias to everyone who needed this assistance and submitted a corresponding application, writes UNN with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers.
Ukrainians used the money received to pay utility bills, purchase Ukrainian medicines and donate to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine
According to him, this program has become the largest in the history of the country. In general, a number of programs of President Zelenskyy's "Winter Support" initiative were in effect last winter. Some of them continue to operate and continue to operate.
Under the "Warm Winter" program, about 600,000 Ukrainians received assistance for children. We have more than 100,000 applications under the e-Book program, for which payments are ongoing. Almost 3 million Ukrainian families receive benefits and subsidies for utility services
Shmyhal also added that 500,000 teachers and educators in schools receive additional payments of one thousand hryvnias.

Shmyhal reported that the government has indexed pension payments. He added that the average pension is now 6,345 hryvnias, UNN reported with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
"This month, as promised, we indexed pension payments. Pensions increased by 11.5% for more than 10 million Ukrainians. Thus, the average pension is 6,345 hryvnias," Shmyhal said.
Also, Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovych said that the government is preparing a number of innovations to support large families, in particular regarding the preparation of children for school.
