It will take several weeks to resolve the issue of Polish farmers blocking the border with Ukraine. This was stated in an interview with Ukrainian Radio by the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Sejm, Pawel Kowal, UNN reports.
The problem with farmers and the problem with the protection of certain segments of agricultural production, i.e., simply put, wheat, corn, raspberries, will be resolved. It will take several weeks of negotiations. Finding a solution is not something new. I think it will be within a few weeks. Both the Polish government and the Ukrainian government have to come to an understanding, to find a solution so that they can sell Ukrainian goods, but also protect several sectors of Polish production
He added that in the history of the European Union there have already been dozens, hundreds of such crises when it was necessary to protect certain sectors of production in a country through market opening and expressed confidence that the EU knows how to do this.
