After reports of the US authorization to use missiles against targets in Russia, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz sees no reason to revise his position. This was emphasized by a spokesman for the German government in Berlin, tagesschau reported, according to UNN.

The German Defense Ministry spokeswoman added that there are no weapons supplied by Germany to Ukraine that would be classified as long-range weapons.
Scholz, as the newspaper notes, refuses to agree on principle and does not want to supply German TAURUS cruise missiles with a range of up to 500 kilometers.
