Satellite images show the consequences of the damage to the Kavkaz port in the Kerch Strait. They were released by the Schemes project on Friday, UNN reports.

Planet Labs satellite images from August 23, which are available to Skhemy, reportedly "show the destroyed ferry and several small vessels nearby that may have also been damaged by the strike on the port of Kavkaz, located in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
"The satellite also recorded damaged infrastructure. In particular, a part of the railroad track leading to the water was damaged. The images also show signs of a fire - fire trucks are parked near the shore," the statement said.

On August 22, the authorities of the Krasnodar region of Russia announced an attack on the port of Kavkaz. Later, videos were posted on social media showing the Conro Trader ferry carrying fuel on fire.
Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk confirmed the destruction of the Conro Trader and noted that the ferry is one of the important links in the chain of Russian military logistics. According to him, the work of the Kavkaz port is now partially blocked.
