Sappers clear almost 40 hectares of land in Sumy region of explosive hazards

Over 39 hectares of land have been cleared with the help of mechanized demining machines in Sumy region. In total, since the beginning of the war, sappers have defused 9,000 explosive devices and surveyed an area of more than 4,913 hectares.
Almost 40 hectares of land have been cleared of mines in Sumy region using mechanized demining machines. This is reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

In Sumy region, active work continues on demining the territories liberated from enemy occupation. Mechanized demining machines have cleared 39.92 hectares of land. Currently, sappers from the Interregional Rapid Response Center in Okhtyrka district are using an MV-4 vehicle to survey the land in one of the settlements.
