According to the Defense Express military portal, russia produces 20-35 "calibers" per month, and thus the stockpile of these cruise missiles could increase to 245-285 units.

The stockpile of Kalibr cruise missiles in the russian army could grow to a range of 245 units to 285 units. This is reported by the military portal Defense Express, UNN writes.

Details

Experts from Defene Express have estimated how many Kalibr cruise missiles the enemy may have in stock. They remind us that in November, according to our intelligence, the russians had an accumulated stockpile of 165 Kalibr.

If we take into account the data available at the time, the rate of production of "kalibr" could range from 20 to 35 units per month. Based on this, and given that russia has hardly used "calibers" to shell Ukraine recently, the enemy's stockpile of missiles of this type could have increased in the range of +80 units to +120 units, or in the range of 245 units to 285 units

- Defense Express writes.

For comparison, they recall that as of November 2023, the russian invaders had only 160 air-launched cruise missiles of the X-101/555/55 types in stock.

According to the official reports of the Air Force, from March 21 to March 31, 2024, the russian invaders fired a total of 133 X-101/555/55 air-launched cruise missiles at Ukraine.

Against this backdrop, it is logical to assess that as the existing stockpile of air-launched cruise missiles is exhausted, the russians may "unpack" the stockpile of "calibers." But at the same time, the same X-101s can continue to be relied upon by the russians to strike at our critical infrastructure

- the post says.

The authors add that after russia began production of the X-101 with two warheads, this missile became twice as dangerous, which means that the enemy seeks to maximize the effect of using such missiles while possibly reducing the intensity of launches.

The publication also recalls the words of the head of the GRU Kirill Budanov about russia's accumulation of "caliber" missiles. Budanov said that the russians are likely to use sea-launched "caliber" cruise missiles to strike Ukraine in the near future, as the enemy has been accumulating such cruise missiles for a long time.
