In the Sumy region, russians attacked rescuers who were extinguishing a fire after a previous shelling. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

It is reported that in Sumy region, the State Emergency Service eliminated 5 fires caused by enemy shelling. At the same time, fires were reported in both the residential sector and infrastructure facilities.
In particular, in Sumy district, a fire broke out in a civilian house. As the fire was being localized by the State Emergency Service, averting the danger from the neighboring house, the shelling started again
It is clarified that the rescuers hid in a safe place and then extinguished the fire.
Later, in the same settlement, another fire broke out in the residential sector due to an enemy strike. Despite its large area, it was extinguished. Emergency responders prevented the fire from spreading to a house located near the center of the fire.
