Russian troops strike in Chernihiv region: residential buildings are damaged

Russian troops launched an artillery strike on the town of Semenivka in Chernihiv region. The shelling damaged two private houses, smashed windows, and killed pets.
On the afternoon of August 2, Russian troops attacked the border town of Semenivka in Chernihiv region. As a result of the attack, residential buildings were hit. This was reported by UNN with reference to the police of Chernihiv region.

Law enforcement officials said that this afternoon the Russian army once again attacked the civilian population of Semenivka in Novhorod-Siverskyi district.
The explosions damaged two residential households. The owners were not injured, but their pets were killed by the shelling.
Police of Novhorod-Siverskyi district are documenting the consequences of the enemy attack. The incident will be registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war)

Serhiy Dedenko, the head of the Semenivka community, told Suspilne about the details of the shelling. According to him, the Russians used artillery during the attack.
Two private houses were hit. Windows were smashed, roofs were damaged, and there was no electricity. The hit was in the yard, where two dogs were killed
According to the head, the windows in the houses of the townspeople will be covered with slabs.
Employees will help to cover the windows of the houses with OSB boards. Later, a commission will work to determine the extent of the damage and draw up reports
