On Thursday, July 11, rescuers came under fire in Kherson, when they responded to a call to eliminate the consequences of a previous Russian attack. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Emergency Service.

Rescuers were gathering firefighting equipment after eliminating another shelling of a residential neighborhood in Kherson and saw an enemy drone approaching rapidly. 

The explosive device fell right next to the fire truck and damaged it. One of the rescuers received a shrapnel wound to the hip, and two civilians were also injured at the scene

- the SES said. 

All the victims are currently receiving medical care.
