The Deputy Minister of Energy said that Russian shelling is the only factor causing restrictions in the energy system. Despite the high readiness for the heating season, the enemy is trying to disrupt the integrity of the power system with complex attacks.
The Russians are trying to carry out complex attacks and disrupt the integrity of Ukraine's energy system as much as possible. Today, the shelling is the only factor that leads to restrictions and the introduction of schedules. This was stated by Deputy Energy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk during a telethon, a correspondent of UNN reports.
The schedules are stabilization schedules and they are based on the technical condition of the facilities. We have entered the heating season with a high level of readiness of power equipment and the energy sector. At the same time, we see that the enemy is trying to carry out complex attacks and disrupt the integrity of the power system to the maximum extent possible. Today, this is the only factor that leads to restrictions and the introduction of schedules
He noted that each shelling does not add capacity to the power system.
“Today we are actively working with international partners, and emergency repair teams are on the move to ensure a quick recovery,” Kolisnyk said.
In addition, he noted that temperature is a predictable factor, which is taken into account in forecasts and ensuring the operation of the power system, maintaining the balance of the power system.
“The shelling is a factor that constantly makes adjustments... The schedules are temporary,” said Kolisnyk.
