Russian troops again attacked the railway with drones, locomotives in Korosten, Zhytomyr region, and Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, were hit, a woman was killed, reported the Ministry of Development on Telegram on Thursday, writes UNN.
The enemy continues attacks on civilian railway infrastructure. At Korosten station, an enemy drone attacked a locomotive. Railway workers were in a shelter. Unfortunately, a civilian woman who was passing by died.
Head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Bunechko confirmed that "the enemy launched another insidious drone attack on the civilian transport infrastructure of Zhytomyr region," and that "currently, one woman is known to have died as a result of the attack."
This same morning in Kryvyi Rih, a locomotive was damaged as a result of a UAV hit.
Head of the Kryvyi Rih City Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul reported that in the morning, "during the last air raid alert, the enemy attacked an administrative building and an infrastructure object. There is a fire. Rescue operations have begun." "A 41-year-old woman was wounded. Penetrating chest wound. Serious. Doctors are currently performing surgery and fighting for her life," stated Vilkul. Also, according to him, a high-voltage cable of one of the substations was damaged due to the Shahed attack. Electricians are already working to restore the damage as soon as possible.
"Russia continues to purposefully attack railway rolling stock. We urge everyone not to ignore air raid signals, follow evacuation algorithms, and immediately go to shelters - this saves lives," emphasized the Ministry of Development.
