139 out of 155 drones neutralized during Russian attack

Russia attacked Ukraine with 155 drones of various types from several directions. Defenders neutralized 139 UAVs, 11 hits and falling debris were recorded.

Russia struck Ukraine with 155 drones overnight, 139 of which were shot down or suppressed, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Thursday, according to UNN.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of April 23 (from 18:00 on April 22), the enemy attacked with 155 Shahed-type (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of attack UAVs from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, about 100 of them being "Shaheds."
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 139 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country. 11 attack UAVs were recorded hitting 9 locations, and downed (debris) falling at 4 locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
