A ballistic missile strike on the center of Odesa injured 19 people, six of them hospitalized. Two educational institutions, a school and a university building were damaged.

This afternoon, the enemy attacked the central part of Odesa with a ballistic missile. As of now, 19 people have been injured. Six people were hospitalized. This was reported by the deputy head of the Odesa regional state administration Oleksandr Kharlov on the air of the "United News" marathon, UNN reports.

"This afternoon, the enemy attacked the central part of Odesa with a ballistic missile. It hit the central part of the city. People were injured, windows and doors in neighboring houses were blown out, as this is a densely populated neighborhood.

Six people were hospitalized. Five of them are in moderate severity, and one person is in serious condition. Doctors are fighting for the lives of the victims.

I cannot say that these are all the injured people, the search and rescue operation is still ongoing," he said.

Mr. Kharlov added that two educational institutions, a school, and a university building were damaged.

"Fortunately, the teachers and children responded to the air raid and went down to the bomb shelter, and no one was injured," he said.
