Russia is not ready for an unconditional ceasefire - OP

Russia's condition regarding the easing of sanctions to cease fire in the Black Sea characterizes Russia's approach to peace negotiations in general. This was stated by the Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak in an interview with Reuters, writes UNN

"This shows that they (Russia) have not accepted an unconditional ceasefire, which is absurd," he said. "Our logic is that we need to enter without any conditions."

According to him, US President Trump wants to end this war, which is great, but Russia does not want to end this war.

The best way to believe otherwise would be Russia's strict adherence to the agreements reached in Saudi Arabia - at a minimum, the initial agreements on an unconditional ceasefire. And then move forward to a truly lasting peace

- Yermak said.

Earlier, UNN wrote that Andriy Yermak emphasized the need for sanctions against Russia if it does not cease fire.

In particular, he noted that the Russian Federation's fakes about the shelling of the gas station will not work.
